Homer is estimated at 2 years old and he weighs 24 pounds. He is a Spaniel/Terrier mix. Hobo came into rescue with us June 11, 2011 and went to a foster home where a very nice couple and a former rescue of ADRATI are taking good care of him.

He seems to have been outdoors most or all of his life. He is learning quickly though. His foster family is working with him on crate training and house training and basic house manners. Little Rio, his foster brother will also help teach him a lot.

We just had his heartworm test done - negative, and got all of his vaccines updated, and got his neuter done June 13. He was also micro chipped. He has started on heartworm and flea/tick preventative.

Homer is very sweet and likes men, women, and children. He also does well with other dogs. We have no experienced with him with cats at this time. Based on his temperament, he may do fine with cats as well.

He enjoys playing with tennis balls. Although he is not very good at catching them he really tries hard and always puts his best paw forward.

Adoption fee $50 plus a donation of $100 for a total fee of $150.
