On Saturday, April 9 our sweet Atticus left us. Early morning he got up seeming fine and then suddenly collapsed and he was gone. Everyone who met Atticus loved him. He was such a sweet boy and gentle and loving.
You are greatly missed little soul. You have left your paw print on many hearts!
Atticus is a Vizsla mix who has been surrendered by his humans because
they can no longer care for him. He came into rescue not in the best of
health, but he is getting stronger every day.
Atticus is a very loving pup who will make a wonderful family member. He
is very social and likes women, men, and children. He is very friendly
with other dogs but has no experience with cats.
Atticus is estimated to be about two years old and he currently weighs
only 35 pounds and he needs to gain a minimum of 5 more pounds, maybe a
little more.
Atticus will go into a foster home on March 26 and begin crate training
and see what his experience with house manners is like and then we will
update his progress.
