ADRATI K9 Rescue is a small all
volunteer rescue organization located in Richmond Virginia that
rescues dogs and provides love, medical attention, and
transportation along the way to
a new family. ADRATI K9 Rescue is registered as a 501(c)3 non profit corporation.
This means that your donations are tax deductible by the IRS
guidelines.

Homeward Bound
Rescue is about saving dogs in all conditions that need
love, help and homes. Some come in healthy and hopeful. Others
need extensive medical care and attention.
The care, time, patience, love, heartache and financial
burden that a rescue takes on to make a difference in the
lives of these dogs and the families they complete is
extensive.
We need your help to continue this work we love so much. No
donation is too small except for the donation we never receive.

We rescue mixed breed and pure breed
dogs. We rescue dogs of all sizes and a variety of ages. We rescue
dogs from many different situations. We rescue dogs from kill
shelters. We rescue dogs from puppy mill busts. We rescue dogs from
the streets. We rescue dogs with major health issues or injuries. We
rescue dogs from certain owner surrender situations.
We rescue dogs!
All of our
dogs are given the best medical care that we can offer. The most
important part of this medical care is spaying and neutering. There
are so many wonderful dogs that don’t stand a chance at a good
family life. Spaying and neutering dogs is the way to help eliminate
the pain and suffering of homeless dogs and euthanasia of healthy,
adoptable dogs.
We do
charge an adoption fee for all of our dogs. We work with many
wonderful veterinary hospitals, dog daycare and boarding facilities,
groomers, and other dog service businesses in the area who give us
discounts to help our dogs, but we work with so many dogs with
special conditions that the adoption fee rarely covers the necessary
expenses. Some of our dogs with special medical circumstances may
take four to six months of care before they are ready to be placed
in a home.
All of our dogs are fostered in a home
environment so they can recover from medical treatment and learn to
have good manners in a home environment. Some of our dogs need to
learn that being with humans can be a good thing. This is why we
rely on donations to help these dogs. Please consider donating to
